Brokeback Mountain!
I just saw Brokeback Mountain today at 4 pm with my friend, and words cannot describe how incredible this movie is. Everything, from the storyline to the directing to the acting was the epitome of perfection. I have never seen Heath Ledger act so well, and Jake Gyllenhaal was phenomenal. Anne Hathaway was so unlike her Princess Diaries character that I was shocked; I have never seen her act so bitchy and cold-hearted. And to say that I was amazed that Michelle Williams from Dawson's Creek could actually protray emotion onscreen is to put it lightly. Every actor was incredible, and the chemistry, between everyone, was just right; from the love between Jack and Ennis to the tension with their wives to the discomfort between Jack and Alma, everything was great. I can't even get my mind around my feelings for this movie, and I keep saying over and over how great it was, but I can't portray anything else. I just know that I will never forget seeing this movie, nor will I ever forget the impact that it has had on me.
